"Bagaweet" derives its name from the Red Sea dialect, signifying "our language”.

It aims to transform heritage into wearable and decorative products for a conscious lifestyle, creating a visual identity for the Egyptian Red Sea.

Through color palettes and patterns, an identity was created for the Red Sea, El Quseir and Safaga cities to tell stories of the land, people, architecture, and traditions.

Different traditional Egyptian handmade techniques of sewing, embroidery, khayameya (patch work) and silk screen printing is used to bring those special designs into life.

The brand proceeds support Red Sea women artisans, providing them with sustainable income.
